What are the Signs & Symptoms of Intestinal Problems?
To say the digestive system has a lot going on would be an understatement. From the second you eat or drink something to the moment it leaves your body, there’s a chain reaction that sees many organs work in tandem to and try their best to run without any problems. For some people though, intestinal problems can create discomfort, while some pain can be warning signs that there are issues worth going to a doctor to get checked out for.

Disorders of the Small Intestine
It normally takes about 90-120 minutes for the first part of a meal we have eaten to reach the large intestine, and the last portion of the meal may not reach the large intestine for five hours. This pattern of motility is called the “fed (or eating) pattern.”
