Health spas, medical spas, pet spas, day spas and now dental spas - a concept long overdue that brings comfort to a setting that is all too commonly associated with shots, high pitch drills and pain

The ultimate goal of the dental spa is to provide such a pleasant experience that patients will want to return. To accomplish this, dental spas try to incorporate various physical comforts for patients such as headphones, flat-screen televisions, blankets, neck pillows, a massage by a masseuse, and relaxing background music, to name a few. The overall office ambiance is supposed to be one of tranquility and peacefulness.
High end dental spas are springing up in several places. But, for your usual dental office, bringing in a masseuse may not be a financially feasible option. However, most if not all dental practices attempt to incorporate some aspects provided by a dental spa and will always try to accomplish the required dental procedures for you in the most comfortable way.
If you decide to use a dental spa, plan on paying a higher price with the benefit of having a pleasurable dental experience. It's probably worth it.
